Thrive in Adversity

‍ Life brings us challenges — some expected, others that shake us to our core. In those moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or untethered.

At Dandelion Counseling, I believe that you can not only thrive in adversity but also grow through it — emerging with new clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of self.

I believe that every person carries an inner wisdom and a spirit capable of moving forward, even when fear or pain feels heavy. My role is to help you reconnect with that part of yourself.

It is an honor to walk alongside you on this journey. Our work together is rooted in safety, trust, empathy and evidenced based treatment that creates a space where you can explore, heal, and bloom in your own time.

Meet Julie.

Julie Ball, LMSW, brings fifteen years of clinical experience to her current work as a therapist. Her career began in medical settings, where she supported patients and families navigating chronic and life‑altering illnesses, including end‑of‑life care. These years of walking alongside people in their most vulnerable moments deeply shaped her clinical lens and her commitment to compassionate, grounded support.

Over the past five years, Julie has expanded her practice into the therapeutic space, integrating her extensive clinical background with a warm, relational approach. She draws from a rich eclectic blend of psychodynamic, self‑psychology, person‑centered, existential, solution‑focused, and expressive arts practices. Curiosity, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience guide her work.

Julie currently provides counseling services through Dandelion Counseling and H1 Therapy Collective. In addition to her clinical practice, she offers supervision to LLMSWs pursuing full licensure. Her supervision style is both professional and down‑to‑earth—designed to build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and honor each clinician’s unique path in the field.
