Meet Julie Ball, LMSW

Hi, I’m Julie — the heart behind Dandelion Clinical Supervision. I believe therapy should feel authentic, down-to-earth, and rooted in evidence-based practice. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where people can process life’s challenges, discover new perspectives, and grow into their most authentic selves.

My Approach

I draw from a range of approaches — including psychodynamic, person-centered, existential, solution-focused, and expressive arts practices. What that means for you is therapy that balances deep reflection with practical tools. Every session is guided by curiosity, respect, and compassion, because I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is a key part of healing.

For those pursuing their professional path, I also provide supervision for MSWs seeking full licensure — offering both practical guidance and a supportive space for professional growth.

Why “Dandelion”?

Dandelions may seem ordinary, but they’re resilient, adaptable, and quietly strong — just like the people I work with. To me, they symbolize growth, persistence, and the possibility of renewal even in hard places.

Outside the Office

I find renewal in nature, painting, gardening, and storytelling. These creative and grounding practices influence how I show up in sessions — bringing a calm, curious, and compassionate presence.
